Mahalo for your interest in paddling with the Wahines!

We are recreational paddlers who are interested in connecting to our beautiful bay

and our community of paddlers.

First step:  is to sign the WOCC waiver or click HERE to email us!

New paddlers do not need any outrigger experience. However, you must be able to: swim, sustain paddling for an hour to an hour and a half (with a few breaks), and get into the canoe from the water in the event of a huli (the canoe flipping) Paddlers must also be comfortable being out on the open water. We provide paddles and personal flotation devices. See the Outriggers page for more information about what is an able sea person and paddler.

We paddle on Saturday and Sunday mornings from Ohana Beach next to Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco. We meet at 9:00 am and are typically back on the beach by 11:00 am to secure the gear and canoe, which takes 15 minutes.

We are currently working with a beta Google sheet sign-up system that we will explain to you after signing the waiver. Hope to see you out on the bay soon!
